Ardfin golf course is ranked Top 40 in the world.
The whole project at Ardfin has been nearly ten years in inception and will continue to evolve over the future too but at its heart are four elements.
Ardfin Quads
The original Ardfin Farm Quadrangles have been completely converted to form the centrepiece of the accommodation offering with 13 rooms, all exquisitely furnished by London Interior Designer Louise Jones who was tasked with insuring their individuality reflected the many facets of the estate. They are not simply comparable to 5 star hotel rooms but far more unique- standing out for their application to Jura and the needs of those who will chose to visit and stay. Along with the rooms are two apartments with kitchens and private dining rooms which offer further variety in styles and will cater to small groups looking for increased privacy and luxury.
Jura House
Jura House was originally built in 18 Century and remains the heart of the 12000 Acre Ardfin Estate. It has been transformed since the purchase by the Coffey’s and has not only been entirely renovated and furnished beautifully but also extended to include a state of the art commercial kitchen space, an indoor leisure facility with heated pool, and thermal suite a shooting gallery and indoor golf simulator. The house has 10 bedrooms. It is available for exclusive use with a full complement of staff to look after the guests.
Golf
In 2011 Bob Harrison a world recognised Australian Golf Course Architect was engaged to build a world class 18 hole facility based on land surrounding Jura House. Sol Golf were appointed to construct the course and this year it was opened for play for the first time. It has been met with high accolades and has been already rated within the top courses of the world for its style design location and presentation. In addition to the 18 hole course is a practice area and par 3 course by the “Quads” offering a chance for visitors to hone their game or simply enjoy a shorter more informal circuit . The course is very much a walking course and provides and extremely challenging game to most visitors. Caddies, trolleys and a fully stocked shop help support expectations from such a facility.
Estate
With over 12000 acres, 12 islands and 7 miles of coastline Ardfin can be an essential playground with activities on the Hill, on the beach and in the water. We have a number of activities already in action from stalking, clay shooting and loch fishing, SUP, fishing trips and boat charter but in essence are flexible and can tailor our product to demand and requests.
